A Note Towards Tomorrow follows the journey of two remarkable middle schoolers: Ezequiel, a vibrant drummer, and Zoya, a thoughtful trombonist. Over the past three years, they have grown not only as musicians but as individuals, thanks to the transformative work of Jazz Empowers, a nonprofit bringing jazz education to underserved schools across the country.

Through improvisation, collaboration, and mentorship, Jazz Empowers has given these young artists more than just instruments...it has given them a voice.

Now, as they prepare for their final performance at the NYC Showcase in the heart of Brooklyn, Ezequiel and Zoya reflect on how far they have come and what lies ahead. Their story is one of friendship, resilience, and the power of music to shape identity and spark hope.
