David Reppond
David is the Director of this film and an award-winning filmmaker with a passion for storytelling across documentary, corporate, and reality television. He began his agency career creating strategic content for Fortune 500 companies, later working with major networks including Discovery, A&E, and producing doc-style television for ABC. His work includes an Emmy-nominated episode of Hearts of Heroes and the acclaimed documentary The FBI’s Secret War, which exposed the COINTELPRO surveillance of Vietnam veterans. David also leads a creative agency focused on crafting impactful, story-driven content.

Giovanna Conservani
Giovanna is the Producer of this film and a visual storyteller with a deep love for photography and capturing real moments. Her journey began in São Paulo, where she documented the lives of people living on the streets - an experience that shaped her approach to storytelling with empathy and honesty. Later, while photographing the mountains of Italy, she discovered a passion for the outdoors and portraiture. She has worked in Brazil, the Netherlands, and the United States as a photographer and project manager, contributing to creative projects and collaborating with well-known photographers on weddings and cultural stories. Today, she continues to lead creative work that blends emotion, story, and visual impact.

Samuel Moskowitz
Samuel is the Cinematographer for the film. With a background in documentary, narrative, and commercial work, he brings a sharp visual style and deep technical expertise to the project. His recent credits include Jim Thorpe: Lit by Lightning for History Channel (2025), Jersey Birdies (2024), and the award-winning short Brute (2013). Samuel’s experience spans camera operation, lighting, and editing, helping shape the film’s visual language and emotional tone.

Will is the Editor for this film and a seasoned storyteller working across documentary, branded content, and marketing campaigns. His work includes collaborations with NASA, Intel, Columbia Sportswear, Autodesk, and Boston Dynamics, creating content that bridges technical innovation and human connection.
He began his career working on branded documentaries and commercial campaigns. Known for his solution-oriented approach and ability to streamline complex projects, he brings both technical expertise and a strong sense of story to every edit. Will also owns and operates a remote post-production company focused on craft editorial - creating stories that resonate.

Executive Producer
Andrew Johnston
Andrew is an Executive Producer of this film and the founder and Executive Director of Jazz Empowers, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing jazz education to underserved schools. After earning degrees in Jazz Studies and Performing Arts Management from DePaul University, Andrew joined Teach for America, teaching music and math at a high school in Nashville. Inspired by the lack of access to jazz programs, he launched Jazz Empowers in 2014. Under his leadership, the organization has grown to serve over 10,000 students in 420 schools nationwide and has raised more than $3.8 million. A skilled trombonist, Andrew has performed with jazz legends including Terell Stafford, Jeff Hamilton, and Phil Woods.

Executive Producer
Sheila Houlahan
Sheila is an Executive Producer of this film and the creative force behind the award-winning hybrid film Night, Mother. As an actress, she has starred in Apple TV’s The Actor, appeared alongside Denzel Washington in The Little Things, and featured in Michael Bay’s Ambulance and an upcoming Netflix series. A classically trained vocalist, Sheila has performed with the Grammy-winning Seattle Symphony and collaborated with A.R. Rahman. She is also a passionate mental health advocate, working with national organizations to help end the stigma around mental illness.

Co-Producer
Danny Fernandez
Danny is a Co-Producer of this film and the Regional Director for NYC at Jazz Empowers. After earning a degree in Music Education and Saxophone from the University of Texas at El Paso, Danny led a touring Salsa/Timba group across the Southwest before moving to Los Angeles, where he completed a Master’s in Woodwind Performance at Cal State Fullerton and toured Portugal as a featured soloist. Since relocating to New York in 2015, Danny has taught with Jazz Empowers and continues to perform regularly, leading The Ditmars Sessions and playing weekly with his quartet at The Last Word in Astoria.
