Watching the first cuts has been both thrilling and humbling. Every shot brings back the energy of the day it was filmed — the nervous excitement of interviews, the joy of music filling a classroom, the quiet moments of reflection between takes.

These students’ stories — their courage, creativity, and determination — light up every frame. Their music reminds us why we started this project: to celebrate the power of art and education to create opportunity and belonging.

We’re now deep into the final stretch: refining edits, weaving in our jazz score, and shaping a soundscape that captures both the pulse of the city and the soul of the young artists at its heart.
