A NOTE TOWARDS TOMORROW

Why Music Matters When Schools Say “We Can’t Afford It”

As both a storyteller and a parent, I’ve spent the past decade watching how the stories we share shape the world our kids grow up in.

I’ve seen teachers stretch every resource to give students something meaningful. I’ve seen kids light up when creativity becomes part of their learning. And I’ve seen too many programs, especially music, disappear when budgets tighten.

The truth is, music gives kids more than notes to play. It gives them confidence, belonging, and a way to connect with who they are.

That’s why we’re creating A Note Towards Tomorrow — a film that shines a light on the impact of music programs in underserved communities and reminds us what’s at stake when they fade away.

Storytelling helps us see what matters. And this story matters deeply. Because when we invest in music, we invest in possibility.

If this message resonates with you, I’d love your help finishing the film and sharing it with schools and families everywhere.

Let’s keep the music playing.

Thank you for your support!

-David
