Queens, you got us.

We just wrapped a few days of filming in Queens for A Note Towards Tomorrow, and I’m still trying to process how much heart we encountered. Families welcomed us like old friends. We shared meals, stories, laughs, and a few moments that hit us right in the gut (in the best way).

As a director, I’ve learned that no matter how many shot lists you prep or how tightly you schedule your days, the most meaningful parts of a shoot are the ones you can’t plan for — the conversations, the connections, the quiet moments between takes that remind you why you picked up a camera in the first place.

This community showed up with warmth, generosity, and a whole lot of soul. We’re honored to have been trusted with their stories, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
